Images page updated
We're going to be making some site upgrades in the near future to make image searching and browsing more efficient. To hold you over until then, we've made a few changes to the image browsing page to make it easier to view and compare set contents. Let us know what you think.

Just ran across this flattering tidbit on youthedesigner.com. Thanks guys.
Recent feedback
Excellent pre-visualization resource, affordable and easy to grab a template for a project, we've only used it a few times and already see an improvement with client reactions to concept art. - Jett

I loved the easy to follow directions and simple execution of all images. - Kyle

Sizing guidelines are handy but I have been doing this long enough that I can fiqure it out. I dont always need to edit the other layers because you guys do such a great job no need to mess with perfection. - Jeff

I think what you are doing is great. A lot of time is spent creating good visuals and this is the sort of thing that when graphics are applied can really excite a client. - David

Great idea and execution. - Kurt

Well put together files, simple concept, useful daily. One of those things which causes one to smack forehead and exclaim, 'Why didn't I think of that?' - Ben

Just to clarify...
Thank you for all your feedback on our new custom set feature. While this new feature allows you to get discounted pricing which approximates what you can find in our prebuilt sets, by adding your individual image picks to your shopping cart, it seems calling it ''build you own custom set'' was a bit unclear. So, we've decided to replace this somewhat vague name with the hopefully less vague ''multi-image discount''.
Build your own custom set: launched!
The ability to build a custom image set has been one of our most frequently received requests. So, we're happy to announce that this feature is finally up and running! What this means is that you can add 2 or more individual images to your cart for discounted set pricing. Visit our cart page to read more details on available discounts. Then, give it a try and share your thoughts on our contact page.
3 new images just posted
3 new high-resolution images are now available: CD/DVD slimcase, pure, CD/DVD and booklet, and CD/DVD folder, upright.
A new way to buy
We've received many requests for this one... but we can't say too much just yet. What we can say is that we're going to be testing out a new way to purchase individual images on the site in the next few weeks. Stay tuned!
CS3 compatibility
Today Adobe officially announced CS3.

LiveSurface images are not only compatible with CS3 but have been prepared to take advantage of many of the new features built into Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop CS3.

For example: Vanishing Point in Photoshop CS3 now allows for automatic wrapping of artwork on multiple planes. In other words, artwork will smoothly wrap around the corners of books and packaging and can also be set to clip to the plane edges. LiveSurface images have planes built to support this.

We'll be posting more about LiveSurface and CS3 on our site soon.
New Object Series images
7 new high-resolution Object Series images have just been posted.
Giveaway winners (update)
Our recent survey giveaway winners have all been confirmed: Congratulations to Sanne from Rotterdam, Netherlands, David from London, UK, and Diego from Wesley Chapel, Florida, USA. Stay tuned; another giveaway is in the works!

Giveaway winners
If you're on our email list then you know that we've been conducting a survey over the past few weeks. The responses we've received have been very helpful and we've contacted our 3 random survey giveaway winners. Each winner receives their choice of 5 individual images from our Library. If you filled out our survey, but haven't been notified that you've won, there's something more: keep your eyes out for a small gift from us in your inbox very soon...
New outdoor images posted!
...and you can find them all right here.
Roll-over
We've upgraded our image thumbnails to display a preview of each image's masked artwork areas on roll-over. Clicking the thumbnail now takes you to the artwork view (click the image a few times to see the original image view). Love it? Hate it? Let us know.
Great outdoors
We're wrapping up a bunch of new outdoor images and are hopeful that our checks will be complete and the images posted by early next week.
Lo-res images now available
We've added lo-resolution versions of all of our individual images and sets for those that don't need print resolution images. Each lo-res image has the same layer structure and 3D surface data its respective high-res version.
Help us to celebrate our 1-year birthday!
Hint: check the prices on our individual images on Thursday, January 11.
Photoshop CS3 compatibility.
With the public beta release of Adobe Photoshop CS3, we can now share that our images are fully compatible with CS3's newly enhanced features, including Vanishing Point.
Recent upgrade.
You may have noticed some construction happening on the site this evening. After Peter from San Francisco asked about multi-user licensing we decided to add a new feature: as of today you can now purchase multiple licenses online and get automatically discounted pricing. Once you've added an image to your cart, use Add to increase the number of licenses. Think the site needs another feature? Let us know!

New images.
New Outdoor Series images are going to be posted very soon. Stay tuned.
Outdoor Series: Starter Set added.
We've posted our second set here.
New Outdoor Series!
We've recently posted our first installment of Outdoor Series images to the site. Ten outdoor scenes (recently shot in NYC) make up our first installment of images: billboards, subway entrance ads, storefronts, and building faces. Besides each LiveSurface image's layered, pre-masked surface (onto which you can paste your artwork), each image contains additional effects, texture and lighting layers to make your pasted artwork look like it was truly part of the original photo. Store windows maintain reflections, billboards keep their spotlit highlights, and brick walls preserve their brick texture. See them here.
More image details added.
All image previews on the site now include 5 additional detail views (all layers, background, material layer, artwork layers, and Vanishing Point planes) as well as pixel dimensions. Check it out here.

Osceola from Kalamazoo, Michigan was selected at random from our survey respondents to receive a complete 25 image Starter Set! Congratulations Osceola and thanks again to all our email update subscribers who participated in the survey! Want to be eligible for our next survey? Recent feedback.
Jim from Coudal Partners, makers of the Jewelboxing CD/DVD packaging system, sends: We bought a copy (Susan is one of my partners) and we totally dig it ... congrats on a great idea perfectly executed. We've used it on three client projects in the last three weeks and it's made our life a lot easier and our presentation cleaner.
We have a winner!
Markus from Augsburg, Germany was selected at random from our survey respondents to receive a complete 25 image Starter Set! Congratulations Markus and thanks to everyone who participated in the survey; we received a lot of great feedback. While the giveaway is over, if you've had a chance to give our sample image a try, we'd love to hear your thoughts.
Individual images now available.
Individual images may now be ordered from our images page.
Starter Set intro price ends this week.
If you haven't gotten around to taking advantage of our introductory pricing on the Object Series: Starter Set, now is the perfect time to do so. Our unbelievably low promotional price of $119 for 25 LiveSurface images (think less than $5 for each high quality image!) ends on March 22nd.
A la carte ordering.
We've received many emails requesting individual image ordering from those of you who just need a couple images instead of a complete set. So, we're happy to announce that we've upgraded our site and individual image ordering will be available on select images starting next week! The introductory price for individual images will be just $49 per image.
Blogged.
Just after our launch in January John Nack blogged us on his site. Very high praise indeed, considering that John is the Senior Product Manager for Adobe Photoshop. Check out his popular blog and our link here. Thanks John.
Feedback.
In a recent customer survey, we heard the following: Lasse from Denmark said that our images are just what I needed!, Peter F from Canada said sure is fun!, and Peter H from Canada said i used it in a client presentation last week and it really sold the identity proposal that i pitched... applying a new identity to livesurface applications makes it really easy for the client (and designer) to visual a proposed brands various applications... thank you. Thanks guys!
